Cox's Bazar to Adinath Temple Trip
Cox's Bazar, the state of natural beauty in Bangladesh, is famous not only for its sea beaches but also for visiting various nearby tourist attractions. Recently, I visited the famous Adinath Temple in Maheshkhali. This trip will be a different experience in my life.
In the morning, we took an auto rickshaw from Cox's Bazar city to the ghat. From there, we set off for Maheshkhali by trawler. With the coolness of the river water and the wind, it seemed as if nature was taking over. There was greenery all around, small boats in the distance and calm water all together a charming scene.
After walking down to Maheshkhali ghat for a while and taking a rickshaw, we reached the foot of Adinath Temple. We had to climb about 300 stairs to reach this temple located on the hill. Although I was panting, I forgot my fatigue after seeing the surrounding view from the top of the hill. The mangrove forest below, the sea breeze and the calls of birds—all together created a strange peace in my mind.
Adinath Temple is an ancient Hindu religious place, where devotees have been coming to worship for many years. The atmosphere of the temple is very peaceful, clean and full of devotion. We sat and prayed for a while, then explored the temple premises. The movement of devotees and the mountain air create a spiritual feeling.
On the way back, we crossed the river again and returned to Cox's Bazar city. This whole day's wandering tired our bodies but filled our minds.
The biggest achievement of this trip was the beauty of nature and peace of mind. When you go to Cox's Bazar, enjoying the beauty of the surrounding places besides seeing the sea is also an important part of the trip. Adinath Temple is an ideal destination in that regard.
If you visit Cox's Bazar, you can take a day to visit Adinath Temple. A wonderful combination of nature and spirituality will teach you to think anew
