Creating Virtual Businesses Inside Video Games - A New Economy Is Born

Did you know that it is now possible to create virtual businesses inside video games that can earn you real money?

I wanted to show everyone a new way of earning cryptocurrency, a new business model and the future of gaming.

So how could a virtual business produce profit one may ask?

Well let's take a look at a game called Prospectors.

This game is set in the wild west days and the aim here is mine as much gold as you can.

You need to buy equipment and tools, rent land and hire workers, all of this costs money.. the in-game currency PGL token.

So inside this game, there are a number of virtual businesses you can setup, one example is a gold mine.

In this game when you purchase a gold mine you can hire other people to come and work for you mining gold.. this gold can then be converted into cryptocurrency - so in fact you are setting up a real cryptocurrency gold mine here.. it earns real money.

Another example of a virtual business that you could setup in Prospectors would be the coffee shops.

Other users can come and purchase coffee from you.. and this coffee makes their workers perform better, which in turn earns that user more money.

So these coffee shops have a real product that is actually useful to people, and it costs real money to purchase.

One of the best businesses to setup in this game is a bank.

To exchange your in-game gold into real money, you will need to use a bank. The banks charge a fee - So if you purchase a bank, in essence your buying a little cryptocurrency exchange that sits inside the game and earns you revenue.

One last example although perhaps one of the best, is a tools workshop.

Tools in this game cost money to buy, and with this factory you can produce these tools and then sell them for money inside the game on the marketplace.

Each tool will cost a certain amount to make, and will sell for a certain price and you will earn a certain amount of profit. This game has a real in-game economy much like the real world and if you work hard, save your money and invest wisely you can grow and expand and become a wealthy industrialist who employs other users in the game.

I can see a future where hundreds of virtual worlds exist and hundreds of millions of users are running little virtual businesses, buying and selling virtual goods and services all while creating massive new online economies that will add hundreds of billions to the blockchains total marketcap.

This is the future of gaming, it's being built right now.
