These days researching crypto and investments in general can be a real slog. Sometimes I need to turn on some music to keep me from falling asleep. I find that Motorhead gets the ol’ blood pumping when things get boring or dreary.

I’ve always wondered if my favorite rock bands would support crypto. I’d like to think that they would.

In the ol’ days when the US was entering the Industrial Age the tycoons of the day would engage in “the great game” when business competition was fierce and ruthless.

The Game

Fast forward to today, history repeats itself in the digital realm. Different blockchain and digital assets bludgeon each other for supremacy.

And this was before the markets had been Killed By Death!

2022 was a bloodbath for both TradFi and DeFi investors. The Federal Reserve and other central banks finally woke up to the problems of inflation. The money printer has been turned off frens. Looking back I wish I had committed myself more last year.

Everything seemed great in 2021.

Bitcoin was the crypto version of the King of kings

Bull markets make us feel great. It seemed liked everybody was making money. Then it made us feel smart and maybe a bit too smug.

Oh what you thought you were the Ace of Spades?

Nope, now we’re just a bunch of jokers.

But at least we’re all a bit wiser. During the next bull market we’ll make sure we take more profit. Maybe we’ll even hedge and make some money by shorting. We will have learned AN adapted.

When our digital asset portfolio died, it wasn’t for nothing. We went back home, licked our wounds and went back to work.

It might not seem that way but there are devs that actually care. As we speak they’re working their butts off to create a better digital future. After the dark clouds go by we’ll get to enjoy
