What are Bitcoin Faucets, and should YOU pay attention?
Most people we have spoken to about bitcoins and faucets seem to be totally unaware of this opportunity to earn money/crypto currency online, many are even highly suspicious and a few are hostile, and so I write this running account of my own endeavors in filling my crypto bag with free Crypto Currency. In this article we will be going over what faucets are, how to make use of them, some of my favorite earning sites, and what a realistic expectation of earnings should be.
A faucet is a web page that rewards a registered user in Crypto Currency to do a specific set of tasks/actions in a set timeframe based on the overall theme of the web page. So, there are faucets that pay out a random amount of Crypto Currency every minute, 5 minutes and also 15 mins and more, by completing a Captcha and clicking on a link. Others pay you for playing games, others pay for betting on their site, and others for viewing ADS, completing surveys and much more. (AVG and ANTIMALWAREBYTES are highly recommended, as is the BRAVE browser) Most sites reward the user for loyalty, so either by interacting on a regular basis with the particular site, or by referring other users, loyal members can receive a significant boost in payouts.
As for Earnings, so far 10 days into my collecting journey, Realised P&L is 0.0011047 BTC and Unrealised +- 0.001415 BTC
projecting 0.03 BTC by 31 December 2021 if earnings rates stay the same.

Passive LTC GPU mining with my NVIDIA GT 710 on LITECOINPOOL has not been nearly as profitable, only netting 0.00000535 LTC so far.

Why do Bitcoin Faucets pay us SATOSHI's?
So, when it comes to advertising, on each bitcoin faucet site there are often several ads, and tasks to do with advertising. Faucet members are paid from the publishing revenue.
Advertising networks like Google Adsense pay faucets both in terms of impressions and clicks.
So, if any of the faucet members click an ad in the faucet, the faucet owner will receive $0.10 to $1 or even more per click based on member’s geo-location. In addition, for every 1000 times the faucet page generates the impression, they will also get paid in terms of CPM.
Thus, the faucet earns money both in terms of clicks and impressions. Like 10 clicks per thousand impressions = $3 for clicks + $3 CPM = $6 revenue for faucet.
Faucet owners need customers to create impressions and make clicks. No one will do it for free and neither can the faucet owners do it on their own. So, faucets owners create a community of members who can do it for them. In turn, members get paid for doing it.
For example: If the faucet owner earns $5 for 1000 impressions, they spend $1 – $2 for 1000 impressions to pay their members.
What is a Faucet Rotator:
A faucet rotator is a website which helps faucet users save time by allowing them to manage several faucets from several sources paying into a central account which helps the user reach the minimum payout threshold faster, and claim Bitcoins whenever the faucet is ready to claim without the need for logging into the faucets each time.
Bitcoin faucet rotators use is available or free of cost, since they make up the hosting cost via advertising and referral programs (see below)
Rotator sites also help users to stay up to date regarding new sites coming on stream.

Pros and cons of Bitcoin & Altcoin Faucets:
Pros:
Anyone can earn 24/7 on faucets. (advertising and special daily promotions aside)
2FA protection for accounts are possible when using the Rotators and some faucets.
Many different coins can be earned from faucets and it is now possible to use faucets on mobile devices too.
Huge pay for regular workers. If you’re a regular member you can expect more pay per claim, plus earn special rewards for punctuality.
Huge referral commission payouts. Most of the faucets pay referral commissions of 50% or above. Cons:
Visiting daily will yield better earnings rates, so taking a day off can be an issue in your regular schedule (solutions: mobile and laptop/device)
Since there was a major hike in BTC price, many of the older faucets started to dispense very little Crypto. (it helps to join 2021 sites)
Needs effective planning to earn a reasonable income.
Careful for the paid to click links (PTC) Some ads are of an adult nature and others are flagged by ANTI MALWAREBYTES as dangerous, and others are blocked by AVG for trying to install dangerous software.
