Welcome back again at my blog "How to gain a million satoshis for free".
Till now, I overviewed sites and apps that pay out to a wallet of your own, be it Coinbase or another one, after reaching a certain withdraw limit and/or paying a fee. So in order to gain enough cryptos on such sites to reach the payout limit and pay any costs, you will need to spend some time playing and earning.
Luckily there are also a lot of small faucets that are gladly willing to pay you a tiny amount of cryptos when you visit them and solve some captcha, anti-bot or shortlink. But how do they do that, pay you 1-2 satoshis, knowing that the current miner fee could be easily 1000-2000 satoshi? Well, that's cause they work with a third party, namely a microwallet. This microwallet receives the payment of the faucet "off-chain", stores it on your user account, and once you have gathered enough cryptos, you can demand an "on-chain" payment towards your own wallet, after paying a small fee. It's due to this "off-chain" part that the small faucet sites can keep giving you free satoshis of certain cryptos. "But why would they that?", you think. Easy, those faucets gain their income from advertisements. And the more people come to your site, the more the adds pay. And what is the best way to attract people? Of course, giving them free stuff or money, even as little as 1 BTC satoshi. Make it easy to obtain that satoshi, and people will come.
There are multiple microwallets available, but the two most known and used are FaucetPay and ExpressCrypto.
Each of them have their own way of working, set of supported cryptos, payout conditions and extra features. I will summarize the most important features and differences between them for you, and afterwards you can choose which one suits you best, though nothing prevents you from having both.
FaucetPay
My personal favourite is FaucetPay. It has a nice and easy lay-out, the functions speak for themselfs, and has a good overview of your collected cryptos.
To use it, simply register with your email and a decent password (follow this link to registrate), and setting up a Two-Factor Authentication if you want.
After this, you can go to your dashboard, which immediately gives an overview of your collected cryptos (at this moment zero if you're new), and their total value in dollar.
Here you can see FaucetPay supports the following 10 crypto: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Digibyte, Tron, Tether, and their own indoor crypto Feyorra. At the top of the dashboard their are 8 scroll-down menus with all features of FaucetPay.
Gaining cryptos happens with the "Earn" and "Multiply BTC" menus. The latter is a set of games in which you can gamble with your collected cryptos in order to win some more, kinda like a casino. The real earning happens in the "Earn" menu. Like many faucet sites, you can complete offers or surveys to gain rewards, or do some PTCs to gain some BTC satoshis. "Faucet List" contains all the faucets that are registered with FaucetPay, and so support a payout towards this microwallet.
You can make a selection by crypto, or by kind of site (faucet, game, PTC, ...). You can also put sites in your favourite list, so you can easily reach them next between without to need to search them in the ever growing list of faucets. Nice to know are the statistics of each faucet, so you easily see which are the popular once or which are possibly out of order or funds (low health).
Another important feature is the "Coin Swap", used to convert one crypto into the other. Suppose you collected all different cryptos, but in the end you only want get payed out Ethereum. Then this is the place to do it. Set up your parameters, and press "Make Exchange", to instantly convert your coins. The conversion rate is based upon the value obtained from Coingecko, substracted with a conversion fee of ~5%.
I myself use it for one purpose, namely converting all coins to one specific coin just before withdrawing it to my own wallet. And with the current fees (March 2021), the best option is Digibyte (see below), which has the lowest maximum fee of 5%. Of course, the higher the amount of cryptos you withdraw, the lower the percental fee is, but with Digibyte you get there first.
A nice extra of FaucetPay are there loyalty points, called "Reward Points (RP)". Each consecutive day you log in, you get an amount equal to the amount of consecutive days logged in, with a max of 100. But be aware, miss one day logging in, and you fall back to gaining 1 RP. The collected RPs can be used to power-up your earnings or you can convert them directly into BTC satoshis (though you need 1 million RP for this!!!).
These are the most important functions and properties of FaucetPay, but it has more features available for more specific uses. I will not go in more detail about it, but you can check it out on their site.
ExpressCrypto
The other big microwallet is ExpressCrypto. It has a thighter lay-out, more functions, and a decent overview of your collected cryptos.
Once again, to use it, you simply register with your email and a decent password (follow this link to registrate), and setting up a Two-Factor Authentication if you want. Also, after this, you can go to your dashboard, which immediately gives an overview of your collected cryptos (at this moment zero if you're new), and their total value in dollar as well as BTC.
Compared to FaucetPay one thing stands out immediately: you can collect way more different cryptos. ExpressCrypto supports not less than 27 cryptos: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bytecoin, Cardano, Dash, Digibyte, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Horizen, Komodo, Lisk, Litecoin, Monero, Neo, Peercoin, PivX, ReddCoin, Ripple, Stratis, Tezos, Tron, Vertcoin, Waves, ZCash, and two own indoor cryptos (EX-Gold & EX-Silver). The two indoor cryptos are stable-coins with the constant value of respectively $21.75 and $0.2175.
Here the menus with all website features are placed on the left, including the "List of Sites" with all sites affiliated with ExpressCrypto, and thus supporting a payout towards this microwallet.
Just like FaucetPay, you can make a selection by crypto, and even place them in ascending or descending order by one of their properties. A major downside is the absence to create favorites. So you have to remember their names very well or place them in the favorites of your browser.
In the menus there are once again possibilities for offerwalls, surveys, gambling games and exchanging coins into other coins. But one unique feature of ExpressCrypto that FaucetPay doesn't have, is the possibility to stake certain coins. At the moment Cardano, Komodo, ReddCoin, Tezos and Tron can be staked with annual interests ranging from 3.5% to a staggering 21%. All you need to do is stake the required minimum and wait for your daily payment. Be aware, your interest is NOT added to your staked amount of cryptos. So in order to get compounded interest, you need to unstake your coins (takes 1-2 hours) once in a while and restake the total amount.
In contrary with the Reward Points of FaucetPay, ExpressCrypto rather works with a leveling up system. For each claim you make (or other tasks you perform), you get ECP (ExpressCrypto Points). When having enough ECP, you proceed to the next level. Leveling up only has two profits: first, you gain a certain amount of their indoor cryptos (EX-Silver for each level, and EX-Gold for each 10 levels), and secondly, your interest rate during staking increases with 0.001%.
Which one to use when?
Though you can easily use both microwallets with the same ease, I found for myself that both wallets score stronger on different usages. For easy, fast collecting of faucets I prefer FaucetPay, also because it gathers my favourite high-paying faucets into 1 list. On the other hand, ExpressCrypto excells better in supporting multiclaim faucets, due to its larger collection of supported faucets. So mostly I use one browser with several multiclaim faucets running for ExpressCrypto, while in another browser I actively hunt faucets to be collected in FaucetPay.
But it is all up to you to decide what is your preferred way of working in order to choose the proper microwallet.
Appendix: some good faucets for FaucetPay and ExpressCrypto. (March 2021)
Now you know the features of the two most used microwallets, but it is also important to know best faucets for a maximal profit. At this point you choose if you want to add these faucets to your collection or not, but these belong among the highest paying or fastest/easiest claimable faucets. And of course, there are way, way more faucets available than I can list here. And remember, from here on you have to deal with some pop-ups, captchas, shortlinks and/or anti-bots.

ExpressCrypto:
Qwerofaucet may a very low payout of 1 satoshi of a random coin, but does this claim every 30 seconds during 30-60 minutes, continuing even after closing the window. This faucet was specifically designed to level up very fast.
Faucetworld and HogDice are autoclaim sites you can easily run in the background. FaucetWorld has a higher payout than HogDice, but often suffers from empty wallets for specific coins, while HogDice is always fully claimable. You can claim either directly to ExpressCrypto, or first to their internal wallet, giving a 2x reward bonus.
