Finally the announcement of the first hero of the NFT collection!
It is an ink sketch based on the early 20th century champion Frank Kramer
Frank Louis Kramer was an American cyclist who was a gold medalist at the 1912 World Championships in Newark. He won 16 consecutive national championships from 1901 to 1916. He was inducted into the United States Bicycling Hall of Fame in 1988.
THE STORY

He was born on September 15, 1880, in Evansville, Indiana. Kramer took up cycling as a child, urged on by his parents who wanted to improve his physical health, as he was at risk of tuberculosis. They bought him a bicycle and moved to East Orange, a seaside town in New Jersey.
He won the national championship in 1901 and by 1905 he received his first invitations to compete in Europe.
He won the UCI Track Cycling World Championships - Men's sprint at the Newark Velodrome in Newark, New Jersey in 1912. Albert Francis Grenda of Australia, won the silver medal and André Perchicot the bronze medal.
His first loss for the national title came in 1917, but he came back to win in 1918 and 1921.
Kramer participated in bicycle racing for 27 years until his retirement on July 25, 1922 at the age of 42, after considering "...racing as too strenuous for one of his age and expressed the belief that to continue would impair his health in later years." Twenty-three of those years he raced as a professional. Most of his racing was in the United States of America, but he also competed in France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and Denmark.
A year after his World Championship victory (1913), Gorni Kramer, an Italian conductor, was born. He received his name ("Kramer") because his father was a cycling enthusiast, so he wanted to pay tribute to the American champion.
