Today Sophia is recognized worldwide having participated

countless commercials, interviews on television programs

and even speech at United Nations events.

Created by the North American David Hanson in 2016, this humanoid robot accumulates

in its repertoire of achievements the title of citizen of Saudi Arabia

that was granted to her in 2017 in the capital Riyadh,

while participating in an event on technological innovation.

Despite so much glamour, there are those who bet that Sophia

is just an animatronic puppet without intelligence.

Yann LeCun, director of research in I.A. from Facebook,

posted comments on his Twitter in which he claims Sophia is a scam.

Sophia the robot represents state of the arts artificial intelligence,

she is a super advanced humanoid robot,

capable of showing over 60 different human expressions, interpreting

human language and human emotion.
