Something is happening across Southeast Nigeria this week — and most of crypto Twitter has no idea.
A four-day movement where blockchain meets gaming, builders meet opportunity, and stories meet rewards. This is the story of SEBGW × Boundless.
What Is SEBGW?
SEBGW — Southeast Blockchain & Games Week 2026 — runs September 16–19 across Southeast Nigeria: Enugu, Nsukka, Delta, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, and Anambra.
This isn't a conference in a hotel ballroom. It's an entire region turning into a build station.
The structure is simple: September 16–18 are Build Stations and community hubs spread across seven locations — hackathons, building sessions, esports battles. Then on September 19, everything converges in Enugu for the main event: gaming, exhibitions, showcases, networking, and partner activations.
Learn → Build → Compete → Connect.
Why Gaming + Blockchain?
Because gamers were the first digital owners. Skins, swords, loot — gamers have been buying, trading, and valuing digital items for decades.
Blockchain simply made that ownership real, tradable, and borderless. SEBGW puts the players and the builders in the same room. That's where the future gets built.
From One City to a Regional Engine
SEBGW didn't appear from nowhere. It grew out of ETH Enugu 2025 — one city's Ethereum gathering evolving into a full Southeast movement.
That's the journey: from a single event to a regional engine. From "what is blockchain?" to "watch us build on it."
Removing Every Excuse
The organizers aren't just inspiring people — they're removing barriers. MTN, in partnership with The Block Hive, is giving out free routers to SEBGW participants. No internet? Solved.

The Other Half: Boundless
Now the second half of the story: Boundless (boundlessfi.xyz).
Boundless is an opportunity layer for builders — a place to discover bounties, hackathons, grants, and gigs beyond any single event. The SEBGW story bounty itself is hosted on Boundless. The medium is the message.
See the connection? SEBGW is Learn → Build → Compete → Connect — in real life, across Southeast Nigeria. Boundless is Discover → Contribute → Earn → Keep Building — online, forever.
The event ends September 19. The opportunity layer never closes. That's the bridge.
Why This Matters
Four storytellers will win $50 USDC each for telling this story well, with winners announced at the September 19 showcase. But the real prize is bigger: a region learning to own its future — and a platform where the next opportunity is always one click away.
The story of Southeast Nigeria's onchain future is being written right now. And for once, it's not being written about them. It's being written by them.
