The future. Some people fear it. Others embrace it with open arms. However you view the future, there's a bit of uncertainty about it. What lies ahead is not always clear.

I call this drawing "Hope and Anxiety for the Future". A fitting title, for I hope for the best and have a bit of anxiety, as this is my first blog on here.

Anyway, I think you can take this artwork in two different ways. Is the sun rising or setting mindset? If it's setting, the future looks a bit creepy. An unsavory entity is rising from the depths and is about to pounce. If it's a rising sun, the future looks pretty promising. Something positive is rising up on the horizon and driving away a menacing past.

So here's to the future. May it be brighter than today and with less Creepy One Eyed Thingys.
