Growing Our Own Post 20

Lots of pumpkins now, not like this fella, this is the only big one so far.

The pumpkin vines have started to climb the corn stalks, they are really taking the place over.

We're definitely going to get a few corn cobs, which I am so excited about, I hope we don't harvest too late or even too soon, we're having a barbecue in about two weeks, and I'm really looking forward to using our own homegrown corn.

The stalks with this floppy flowery tops produced no corn, it must mean it went to flower too soon (whatever that means) I remember putting these down, and they were much smaller and weaker than the others.

I think this is what the tops should look like.

This is the farm's pumpkin patch, and they have a whopper of a pumpkin, the photo really doesn't do it justice because it is GIGANTIC and not even close to being finished, they have a few massive ones, but this one is the biggest by far.
