Growing Our Own Post 18

The peas are out of control haha, we actually got a lot of peas, we have a big tub of peas in the freezer. You have to boil your peas for around 2 minutes and let them cool down before freezing.

The peas were fun to grow, they were going okay at the start and then when the nice weather came they just boomed.

Any red onions with those funny looking flowers on top are apparently ruined, when the weather gets too hot it confuses the plant or something like that and causes them to flower too soon.

So many onions.

Yellow courgettes, I'm not the biggest fan, but it is nice in a stir-fry. I guess with all these courgettes I'll have to find new ways to use them. 

My goji-berry tree looks fucked. It was gone all floppy, so I stuck a bamboo stalk into the pot and tied the tree to it to support it, now I'm wondering is that what is killing it? 🤔 We're going to take it home next week and hopefully it will do better there.

So many beets, we'll probably juice most and maybe dehydrate the rest to make beetroot powder. I made beetroot crisps not long ago and I did not like them, I thought they tasted rank.
