Freebitco.in, the world's oldest still operating BTC faucet site, is closing its doors for good.
In a message posted in the site, the owners claim operation has become unfeasible due to the large number of accounts who abuse the offer by scripting or botting.
According to the message they are now manually sifting through all accounts and moving genuine users over to a temporary database from where they will be able to withdraw their balance at some yet unknown date in early 2026.
