What is GoMining?
GoMining is a cloud-based Bitcoin mining platform that has been running continuously for over 5 years, making it one of the most established platforms in the space. You purchase virtual miners measured in terahash (TH/s) and earn Bitcoin daily, with electricity and service fees automatically deducted. Available on PC, Android and iOS.
What's happening with Bitcoin
Bitcoin is trading at $64,146 today β down 1.5% in 24 hours. Looking at the chart, BTC opened around $65K, pushed up to $65.5K around 8AM before a steady decline through the afternoon to close around $64.15K. Bitcoin has been consolidating between $64,000 and $66,800 for several sessions now, having rallied more than 13% from its July 1 low, and the market is waiting for a fresh catalyst before its next directional move. The Fed meeting on 29th July is the next major event to watch β any hints at rate cuts could be the trigger Bitcoin needs.

GoMining Platform News β Stratum V2 Milestone π
This is worth covering because it's genuinely significant for the platform. On 25th June 2026, GoMining used the Stratum V2 protocol on the DMND pool to build and declare its own Bitcoin block template β what industry participants describe as the first live Bitcoin block created with a miner-declared template using Stratum V2. For more than a decade, Bitcoin mining pools have largely determined which transactions appear in the blocks mined by their participants. While individual miners supplied computational power, pool operators retained control over block templates β a point of centralisation that many Bitcoin developers have flagged. Stratum V2 aims to change that, introducing Job Declaration which lets miners construct their own block templates instead of relying on pools. Yahoo Finance
Rather than selecting transactions based solely on fees, GoMining prioritised payments generated through GoBTC Pay, its Bitcoin-only payment protocol β demonstrating how miners can directly support payment applications while maintaining decentralised mining. CCN

The Flywheel Strategy β A Smarter Way to Grow on GoMining

The core idea is to build a Flywheel. Set your maintenance to be paid in GOMINING tokens, reinvest into GOMINING, and lock it for the maximum 208 weeks. The target is 360 days locked and 140 days unlocked β a total of 500 days. Under 500 days, reinvest in GOMINING. Over 500 days, reinvest in TH or BTC. Simple, rules-based, and it works.
