The most attentive note these accounts, used for various purposes—including harming creators and curators by diverting earnings—channel value to funds managed by witnesses or third parties, in a seemingly centralized setup favoring a few.

This system called Hive raises serious questions about its true operations. The same accounts and witnesses keep appearing in these patterns.
Despite multiple reports, including to the DPoS system creator—touted as decentralized but criticized for concentrating power—experts recognize DPoS limitations beyond promotional claims.

Voting power, often transferred via ad hoc multi-accounts, is used for witness self-votes, control maintenance, and actions against inconvenient users, obscuring reputations, posts, and comments earned through effort. On Hive, mass downvotes trigger ad hoc parameters labeled as spam.
Censorship is a proven issue on other platforms.

There are signs of ongoing practices, concentrated power, possible collusions between hivewatchers and witnesses, value creation via self-votes or groups, and automated votes in private groups. There's also widespread passive acceptance by many participants.

This calls for reflection! Including millionaires attending multilevel-marketing style motivational meetings, posing as web3 innovators.
Many can't fix even basic bugs.
Hopefully, they've properly declared earnings and account transfers to tax authorities.

It's surprising the range of actors in the crypto world; who knows if organized group ties will surface.
Truth tends to emerge, as in all platforms.

To these mentioned accounts, avoid theatrics like NEOXIAN vs HIVEWATCHERS or BLOCKTRADES vs THEMARKYMARK.
You're seen as similar, and few buy it!

A salute to those maintaining integrity and resisting centralized mechanisms like Hive. Demand transparency on Hive Foundation—unlike serious foundations of other crypto projects, where founders are visible, publicly known, and the first to engage by answering users' technical/legal questions without censorship or hiding.
