I bought my first silver in 2015, silver was approx $12.00 oz for a little while. Today silver is $30.00 and change that represents a dramatic increase in value. 

I bought my first Bitcoin in 2018 it was less that 15k and I bought it till it reached $20K and then I bought other crypto, Atom, and a few others, but mostly all Bitcoin and as of today even though the bitcoin has doubled all of the other crypto have lost value from the date of purchase. The very idea of that the value is so fragile makes me think of crypto as Bill Holter said, "digital air." 

Bitcoin, even though it has doubled in value it never seems to be able to decide its value and thus perhaps it really does not have any value except the "full faith" of the people who purchase it. Silver is the most manipulated commodity on earth. Its price has been suppressed for decades as well as gold. Bitcoin prices was not suppressed before the ETF Whales started coming in. Now it cannot make up its mind if its has value and what is that value. To grow from 20K to 70K in such a short time leaves me without any faith in Bitcoin or any other crypto. 

I no longer buy any crypto and have not for nearly 5 years or so now. I continue to buy small amounts of silver instead of crypto. I can honestly say after dabbling in crypto I find it nearly impossible to actually believe it was a good investment. I look back and think, I should have invested in a silver mine or a gold mine or more physical gold or silver and the moment any of the crypto I have regains it value I will sell it all and invest in silver and gold mines if viable or physical sliver and gold.  
The very idea of using Bitcoin as money is simply not going to work in my mind. But gold and silver work just fine.
