I spent several years seeing my older brother playing card games 🎴, one of the last being Hearthstone. Before leaving for his new job, he left me his battle.net account and I play it every now and then, luckily Hearthstone is free to play.

I let you imagine my enthusiasm 🥳 when I discovered that there was a crypto trading card game, Splinterlands 👹!

I had about 5€ of credit on the PlayStore thanks to Google Rewards and so I decided to buy it. Initially I was passionate about the game and I dedicated several hours to it, however the more I went on the more I realized that it is a game for whales 🐋🐋🐋.

The reasons are as follows:

• If you do not have a high score due to the card rank it is not possible to progress, the score is extremely high and its achievement is made almost impossible by the failure to buy packs of cards! 😵
• The cards, especially the most expensive, have the ability to incredibly influence the matches. I have also lost 10 games in a row. 😑
• The rewards are ridiculous, in the first two I got two community cards but then 2 and 8 gold! if 1000 gold equals $ 1, we're talking about $ 0.002! Totally ridiculous! Increase your rewards! 😡

It's a nice game and it should be more accessible!
