Why Bitcoin is NOT surging again

I was doubting on the title for this one. 'Why mainstream journalism is dead and buried' was one alternative, the other was 'Why last paragraph journalism is not journalism' and both are honestly not far off if you read this pile of garbage CNN released as to why Bitcoin is up +20% according to them.

"The latest round of excitement came as the BlackRock exchange-traded fund for bitcoin appeared on a list controlled by the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp...BlackRock applied in June to register a bitcoin spot ETF, which is pending approval. The company is the largest provider of ETFs in the world, managing trillions of dollars of assets. A BlackRock bitcoin ETF would give the cryptocurrency a new sense of legitimacy...This listing in the DTCC does not mean that the fund has actually been launched or that this will inevitably happen.”

OK so four paragraphs in and still no reason. Only one non-reason as they themselves elaborate at the end there. A lot of verbal diarrhea is what follows and I really don't care to even mention it because it's the last paragraph that matters. It basically very briefly in three lines sums up what we actually covered a few days ago.

But there’s another reason why bitcoin may be rising: fear. As investors look to diversify their portfolios in uncertain times, some turn to bitcoin, ironically as a kind of digital safe haven. Sometimes dubbed “digital gold,” bitcoin has become a way for investors to branch out beyond traditional stocks and bonds.

What is that? Seriously what is up with this last paragraph journalism? There was this other article we also covered about privacy and crypto where the author also waited until the very last paragraph to finally start talking some logic.

As stupefying ridiculous and sinister as it seems I think I may have the answer. There is this code regarding media outlets that if they do not at least reports some counter narrative arguments, they get fined by the watchdog. So I guess they want to fill the quota in one and the same report and put it in the very bottom where it will be read the least, but hey it's in there, like it's a goddamn disclaimer or something.

I first heard of this when RT was fined for their reporting on the Syria war, where the English media watchdog concluded their reports were too much in line with the views of the Syrian army and government, and did not offer enough counter narrative views on behalf of the likes of Al-Qaeda, Tahrir Al-Sham, Al-Nusra and Hamas.

Yeah how about that one? One of the old tools I have in my shed of knowledge from being so involved with Syria is knowing that 10 years ago, the same countries that are now justifying child mass murders by Israel in order to get rid of Hamas, were not so long ago funding Hamas and labeling the entire string of groups ''freedom fighting democratic opposition''. And don't think that's a stretch, they had no idea where weapons and money were going back then. There was even one point ''rebels'' armed by the Pentagon were fighting ''rebels'' armed by the CIA.

But I digress, what I want to say is CNN is trash and people employed there are human trash.

Things are almost never as they seem. If you sincerely think that world powers would spend their money and resources in order to just "help" citizens from foreign nations, you might want to ask yourself why they've been neglecting and out right murdering their own citizens for decades. What are their true motives for wanting to fund foreign (terror) groups, start global confrontations and wars? I'll let you in on a little secret; It has NOTHING to do with "human rights" nor "democracy".
