What are your portfolio's hidden gems?

No one likes shilling. I for one speak quite often and rather harshly towards those who do so, but there is a fine line and ultimately big difference between actually mentioning or discussing, and shilling. I remember a few years back some crypto Youtuber's fan base was immensely disappointed his "not financial advise" talk on a particular coin he often mentioned and hyped his followers up about, turned out to be worth only 2% in his own crypto portfolio as the audience put two and two together when he at some point made a portfolio analysis video.😲

If I remember correctly some coins he shilled weren't even mentioned in his portfolio at all but mashed together under one segment he labeled "others" which in total was like 5%. Yes trust was lost that day, but at least his followers can be sure that portfolio video was legit because no one would willingly make an *** of himself and antagonize his own supporters based on something that's untrue.😂

But who was to blame? Him or you for entrusting a large portion of your money to some random mans Youtube's defective algorithm recommended to you one day? Well, let's just say the wrongdoing started with the shilling because that's exactly what it was. If you yourself hold just a fraction of something you dare to recommend or "report" to others, it can IMO safely be classified as shilling. What's not shilling, is sincerely mentioning your larger holdings for the sake of getting informed on them by others or sharing your knowledge as to why this particular one is of great interest to you. Conclusion, the portfolio analysis day was the sincere mentioning and discussing day of (large) investments he truly believed in along with potential hidden gems, all those other days were the shilling days.

So on that note: What are yours? Hidden gems I mean, not shills. Mine would undoubtedly be XDC. I've held on to this since the olden days of IDEX when it was still an ERC20 called XDCE. It's not listed on the three major exchanges which is something they actually proved 'a la' Digibyte to not need. Speaking of which, whatever happened to good old DGB? They actually broke ATHs two years ago, but since then sort of faded away into the lower 200 ranking. Anyways what's a rather crucial fact to know is that XDC wasn't the top alt in my portfolio just 2 weeks ago, which is also why I wouldn't start investing in it now since major gains have already been made.🚀

But what goes up, must come down right? So there will always be a chance to get aboard at some point, but despite knowing this I still don't dare to trade this one so I just hodl on and let the XDC coins fall where they may.

Since I started on this I might as well mention the hidden 💩 of my portfolio as well, the one who made more losses than any other investment I have: Waves. The sad part is it's not due to the Waves blockchain itself but all the junk and failures around it. It's a literal comedy show and the Waves coin almost a meme coin at this point and I can with 99.99% certainty say that the founder is now just reverse trolling the Waves community.😂 Seriously, no one is this unaware and lacks this much perspective:

Things are almost never as they seem. If you sincerely think that world powers would spend their money and resources in order to just "help" citizens from foreign nations, you might want to ask yourself why they've been neglecting and out right murdering their own citizens for decades. What are their true motives for wanting to fund foreign (terror) groups, start global confrontations and wars? I'll let you in on a little secret; It has NOTHING to do with "human rights" nor "democracy".
