The unelected dictators gathered in cringecapital of the world aka Brussels have now sunk a bit closer to the ocean bottom and are now so low they can almost start digging down there. Long story short, The EU has now started the practical implementation to get rid of Twitter/X.
Many may not be aware of the patterns but at first the EU banned Russian media, then they banned torrent sites, then they made it "legal" for themselves to spy on and trace journalists and are now looking for ways to get rid of Twitter/X. This step is a bit more complicated, so they started the process with "investigating illegal content" and fine the platform with 6% of its global income. Failing to comply would then result into banning the site to all the poor saps trapped in the EU.
This "illegal content" is described as "new laws designed to eliminate hate speech, racism and fake news from platforms in the EU." No one wants racism or hate speech of course, but we all know it's the EU's definition of "fake news" which is the criteria they will misuse to silence journalists and media which counter their pathetically transparent EU propaganda.
I don't usually argue with pro-EU degens, they make the most infantile mistake of thinking that criticizing the EU is the same as criticizing Europe or even their own country. I've met Germans, Dutch and French who took criticism of the EU as if it were attacks against their own country's policies. That's as dumb and illogical as defending the obviously corrupt and bias UEFA when people criticize it, because you happen to be European and love the game of football.
The mother of all ironies of course is that a union headed by an actual plagiarizing fraud is pretending they are qualified to judge authenticity on behalf of 27 countries and all its +400 million citizens.😂🇪🇺🤡
Musk himself didn't take long to respond to their madness and asked the most obvious of questions:
I gave these examples before Musk took over and for the sake of this post had to look them up because hate speech and racism have been rampant on Twitter long before it became X. So just in case there were any doubts this is anything other than a fascist attempt by the EU to suffocate opposing voices, behold at all the insane sh!t that was around back in the day without Brussels making a single peep:
