It's getting increasingly difficult to avoid these filth who are targeting the crypto community in hopes of hacking people's wallets. The eagerly anticipated LayerZero airdrop is now also being used by fake accounts with fake followers and fake phishing sites where you can now "claim" your airdrop.

Just to be perfectly clear, this is 100% fake and your chances for the LayerZero airdrop are not over yet as this blue check mark account is not their legitimate account and the link an obvious phishing site riddled with viruses and spyware.

The above screenshot btw is from an online file and URL scanning site called https://www.virustotal.com, not a complete package regarding protection but if you don't have a firewall or good antivirus then checking suspicious files or sites here before you open them is certainly better than nothing.
Wait, I just realize I have to clarify something. No one knows if or when the LayerZero airdrop is and whether or not any snapshot has been taken. It may very well be you still have a chance to qualify or it may very well be that it really is too late. So don't get discouraged from trying to qualify, I actually found it to be quite useful and am actively participating in the staking and voting even after I had initially done so in hopes of qualifying.
Just keep in mind you (most likely) have to get STG tokens via a a place like Uniswap and then stake it on stargate.finance in order to receive voting power before a proposal goes live.
And yes I have to do this again:
