DuckDuckGo browser now available on the same OS they sold their users out to

Let's break this one down into three easy to read and relatable parts shall we.

1. The News:

"DuckDuckGo has finally launched the first public beta of its web browser on Windows...As you'd expect from DuckDuckGo, the browser comes with a ton of privacy and security-related features, including a built-in password manager and an ad blocker...the company described the new features as: best-in-class privacy protections"

Be sure to remember that part about how it comes with "a ton of privacy and security features" and the fact that it's for a Windows OS.

2. The Facts:

Like with all news, they either forgot to mention or simply tried their best to purposely hide some crucial facts here. But since it's for something as trivial as a new browser for an OS I tend to suspect they honestly missed it and weren't even aware. Last year, researchers found that the privacy focused DuckDuckGo had been selling its privacy longing users out to Microsoft. Yeah how about that?

Imagine buying an electric heater because your room is too cold in the winter, and upon arrival test it out and see it works great but come November when you start to need it you find that it only blows out cold air. And no you didn't accidentally buy an air conditioner, it was marketed as a heater and it worked as a heater when you tested it out but when it really came down to it and you truly needed the features it presented itself to have, it turns out they violated your trust, went in against everything they ever stood for and that you basically paid to make an already bad situation worse.

3. The Conclusion:

Now you'd think that 2022 was already a 💩show for that Gabriel and his "privacy focused non compromised" search engine because of this genius new policy and announcement but it was also the year their browser had similar, if not even worse revelations.

Sometimes things are so clear that there's really no need for additional comment so I just let the original reports do the talking. "DuckDuckGo mobile browser allows Microsoft trackers due to an agreement in their syndicated search content contract..details about new research that shows that even when an iPhone running iOS 15 is turned off, its really not off and certain wireless features allow the phone to be located and possibly attacked."

Things are almost never as they seem. If you sincerely think that world powers would spend their money and resources in order to just "help" citizens from foreign nations, you might want to ask yourself why they've been neglecting and out right murdering their own citizens for decades. What are their true motives for wanting to fund foreign (terror) groups, start global confrontations and wars? I'll let you in on a little secret; It has NOTHING to do with "human rights" nor "democracy".
