"Coingecko" Ebay EBYR50 token sale is a scam

So I was browsing the comments to see what people were thinking about a certain crypto development and was literally flooded with hundreds of comments about this EBYR50. If you're like me then the first thing you probably asked yourself is 'what the fluke is an EBYR50'? I ignored it at first, but then later at night on a completely different platform I saw that name pop up again.

OK, enough reason to investigate exactly what all the hype is about. I ended up on this video where "Coingecko" talks about how it's associated with Ebay or something and offers you early access to the token sale. Oh well, must be legit right since the trusted Coingecko is talking about it:

IDK if this guy in the video is actually associated with Coinecko, it would be really worrying if he was because that would mean the world of deepfake meets the world of crypto scammers because this is a fake Youtube account and the actual Coingecko account has no such video about this so called Ebay token. Yeah that's another thing, technology has made it increasingly difficult to avoid these scammers and you really can't be careful enough. If you haven't yet, be sure to give this a read to familiarize yourself with some of their known tactics.

So upon just one minute of further checking you'll start to see all sorts of red flags. Like this Ebay presale link they embedded into the video that's riddled with malware and viruses.

Yup that officially does it, in the words of the Bitconnect legendary figure, "That's a scam."

This fake Coingecko account is already reported a few times, lets see how long it takes Youtube to take it down.

Things are almost never as they seem. If you sincerely think that world powers would spend their money and resources in order to just "help" citizens from foreign nations, you might want to ask yourself why they've been neglecting and out right murdering their own citizens for decades. What are their true motives for wanting to fund foreign (terror) groups, start global confrontations and wars? I'll let you in on a little secret; It has NOTHING to do with "human rights" nor "democracy".
