Change to USDC

Change to USDC

By gduran | gduran | 29 Jul 2025

I actually did not read the email about this change until a few minutes ago, so due to the fact I did nothing I will lose about a dollar. Yes, a dollar. You see I hardly use Publish0x lately, not that I don't like the platform it is just that I forget to use it. I forget it even exists. So I also don't open the email address I use for it that much and there you have the reason for me losing money.

As for the change it actually has two sides to it, USDC is stable so all earnings from now on, or at least in a few hours will be stable, no more fluctuating market. But therein also lies the drawback, someone very active on the platform likely gets nice amounts of Crypto, and the way crypto is behaving it is very likely that due to the volatility that person could withdraw much more to fiat currency than what he originally had.

But it is what it is, and I for one think it is a good idea, for one thing USDC is much more easier to exchange on the crypto platforms, plus I can have money sent direct to a bank in Honduras from Binance if I use a stable coin. But in order for that to happen I have to become much more active, to see those USDC start rolling in.
