Last Saturday, XRP owners were lucky enough to take part in the XRP Flare airdrop. The snapshot taken on the 12th was used to calculate the amount of Flare token XRP owners would receive. If you have XRP on any of the exchanges that participated in the airdrop, you would have been notified via email; for each 1 XRP, owners will receive 1.0073 FLR.  There is no set date for the token release, but it will be released sometime during Q1.  Flare will be utilized to help other tokens build on the XRP network. So we can expect a bump up in the price of XRP accompany the release of FLR. Stay tuned for the FLR release date.
