The US Securities and Exchange Commission acknowledged that it received the file from NASDAQ Bourse Market LLC under the name of Coinshares Litecoin ETF.
During the end of the year, there were rumours about the possible appearance of Litecoin ETFs. Canary Capital had already announced that they wanted to launch a LItecoin ETF but the project remained unpursued. During the month of December, Bloomberg was optimistic about the arrival in markets of new ETF products for cryptocurrencies (article). His predictions have been correct as in recent days the pace seems to be accelerating for ETF projects. Now NASDAQ Stock Exchange Market LLC has filed its application for a Litecoin ETF under the name of Coinshares Litecoin ETF.
Recently an ETF project was also launched for Cardano (ADA) by Grayscale. The pressure is also very strong for XRP, Solana and Polkadot. March 2025 could prove to be a real rally for crypto ETF products although the SEC has yet to validate all its plans.
