Lamborghini is also losing interest in exhibitions at motor shows. So do not wait the stand of the Italian car manufacturer at the Geneva show in March.

The traditional Geneva Motor Show is slowly approaching, but this year there will be one known Italian name at the exhibition center between 2 and 15 March. Lamborghini in his latest press release announced that he will not attend the prestigious car show this year. However, the reason for the absence is entirely predictable and is followed by the trend of other car manufacturers, which are increasingly avoiding car shows.

Manufacturers no longer pay off at traditional shows financially or in time, so the promotion of current offerings and premieres of new models prefer to leave on-line space and privately held events. Last year's show in Frankfurt confirmed this direction very strongly, and even overseas the situation is similar - the April exhibition in New York will not be visited by Audi, BMW or Mercedes.

“Lamborghini will continue its 2020 strategy to present new models through exclusive and private events for customers and the media. In this context, we will not be exhibiting at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, ”said the Italian brand.

And Lamborghini will certainly not be the only brand to announce the absence before the gates of the Geneva Motor Show. Last year there were no Hyundai, the whole Jaguar Land Rover, Ford or Volvo.

Absence at the car show manufacturers of course save money. In the case of Lamborghini, however, this cannot be described as a reason for non-participation. Italian car manufacturer is doing very well, last year talks about record sales, which was directly helped by the high popularity of Urus SUVs. Huracán then celebrated a production milestone, when in half the time it reached the quantity of pieces produced as the whole life cycle of its predecessor Gallardo.
