Welcome, Commander!
It’s time to begin our journey through Elderym to defeat the Dread. After the introductory fights, you head back to Haven to prepare for your adventure. Your first stop is Ringstone in Requiem, and the first dungeon is the Fallen Cemetery.
Fallen Cemetery
As it is your first time out, the recommended level for this dungeon is level one. At this point you should have two Guardians, Ferulia and Yalmar. Yalmar should be level four, while Ferulia is level one. The boss of this first part of the dungeon is Batu, a Terra Ranger.
At the top of the screen you will see that this dungeon has five rooms. The first two rooms are fights, the third is a treasure room, the fourth is an elite fight, and then finally the fight with Batu. Batu should be no problem for you, but as a Terra Guardian he does have an advantage against Yalmar, who is a Hydris Guardian.
Upon defeating Batu, you will receive treasure that includes Batu as a new Guardian and a tier one weapon of each type. Then it is back to Haven. Here, you will be led to equip Yalmar with the strength weapon. Click on Ferulia and Batu and equip their weapons as well.
You will then be introduced to quests. When you return to the home screen there will also be a quest on the right side of your screen that is shown as complete. Press on that box to claim additional rewards.
Then back to the adventure! Click on Adventure, then Requiem Ringstone, and back to the Fallen Cemetery. Now, the boss is Zole, an Umbrus Mage. The recommended level is five, and Yalmar should be level five, Ferulia level four, and, if you used the experience scroll on Batu back at Haven, he will also be level four.
This level of the Fallen Cemetery has another five rooms with a similar set up as the last level, except there is no elite room, it is just a regular fight. Now, on the bottom left, you have the option to increase the speed to two times and set your Guardian ultimates to be performed automatically.
Once you reach Zole, the fight should be relatively easy. As Umbrus, Zole has an advantage against Ferulia, who is Solas, but Ferulia also has an advantage against Zole. They do an additional 25% damage to each other when their opponent is restrained, and they gain an additional 25% energy when they attack each other.
Opening the chest, you will gain Zole to add to your party. Throughout the dungeon you would also have picked up a piece of gear that you will want to equip back at Haven. So, let’s head back!
At this point crafting will open up and you will be led to craft an intelligence weapon, perfect for Zole. Exit crafting and go to equip that weapon and the other piece of gear. You should note that, unlike any other gear you have found, the crafted gear is blue and has five little empty diamonds along the bottom. This will be for you to upgrade your gear. More on that later.
Back to adventure, back to Ringstone, back to the Fallen Cemetery. This is the climax of the Fallen Cemetery and now the boss is not a Guardian, but Harver, the Battle Butcher. Harver is also an Umbrus warrior, with the same advantage/disadvantage over Ferulia.

Dreadset is a common boss ability that makes them immune to most control effects.
The recommended Guardian level here is seven. Did you remember to use the experience scrolls?
Again, there are five rooms, with the same set up as the last level of this dungeon. The fights are pretty straightforward, although Harver is the strongest opponent you’ve come across yet. Don’t worry if you have a Guardian go down in the fight. They’ll be fine afterwards.
Once the fight is over, you will see something new in the treasure: ten summoning stones. You will be guided to do your first summons (Get anything good? Reply below and let us know!) and then brought to do your first hero enlightenment. You’ll be enlightening Yalmar (the tutorial really likes him), but it is probable that you will also be able to enlighten other Guardians as well.
And with that, the Fallen Cemetery is complete and the tutorial is officially over. If you connected your IMX Passport to your game and have NFT Guardians within your passport, you can now add them to your inventory by pressing the Vault, selecting them, and transferring them over.
Check out the Pax Custos Guide to the Guardian Interface to see what else you can learn about your Guardians, and the Pax Custos Guide to Refer a Friend for additional rewards!
Fallen Cemetery, Again
Once you have finished the Fallen Cemetery climax, you gain access to three challenge dungeons.
In the first, the recommended level is ten. The boss is Yorik, the Undead Tactician. Being undead, no surprise that Yorik is of the Umbrus domain, so Solas Guardians will have both an advantage and a disadvantage against him (More on Domains here).
Challenge two recommends you run level fifteen Guardians. The boss here is a Risen Archer, an Umbrus ranger.
Challenge three is recommended at level thirty-eight. The boss is a Crypt Stalker, an Umbrus warrior.
After the first challenge, these runs will provide much more in the way of rewards and will only allow limited attempts.
Challenge two: Drops include power stones to enhance your gear, T1 advanced materials for crafting, gold, Commander experience, Guardian experience, and shards for Ferulia and Yalmar. You are limited to three attempts a day.
Challenge three: Drops include power stones, wisdom dust to improve the skill levels of your Guardians, enhancing their kit, Commander experience, Guardian experience, T1 advanced materials, and shards for Shana, Palmera, and Aquiris. You are limited to two attempts a day.
Hope you enjoyed this Deep Dive! The Fallen Cemetery is only your first step out into the world of Elderym and many more adventures await!
This has been Bayrd, and I’ll see you in Elderym.
