This giveaway promoted by @katerinaramm was very interesting. From time to time, conversations arise about how to bring new people to Hive and what we can do to attract their attention. So, how about a giveaway that's open to both current and new members of Hive? Pretty interesting, right?
Those who are nayed will say that people will only participate to win, since they're not already in Hive. Okay, that's a valid point, but if we don't try, how will we bring in new people? For me, every attempt is worthwhile, even if onboarding or retention doesn't happen. Bringing new people to Hive is a challenge, and we have to try everything to make it happen!

This week also saw the PUD (Power Up Day) in which almost 300k $HIVE tokens were staked, or what we call HP (Hive Power). This action of staking the token is called Power Up or just PU, and with that, the more HP, the more voting power and influence within the network.
I'm happy to see that so many people participated, especially since we were trying to break the record of 951 distinct accounts that have ever done PU in a PUD. Anyway, this November, we broke the record for accounts doing this in the year. Maybe in December we can break the all-time record, why not try?

Well, cryptocurrencies and their respective communities don't only experience good times. We know that cryptocurrencies depend heavily on those who believe in them; let's say they become more valuable according to the faith and trust placed in them, and so it is with Hive.
These are uncertain times in various ecosystems, but we remain strong and faithful, believing that everything will be alright. After all, holding tokens, staking, participating, engaging—all of this is valuable for Hive. Our strength isn't always in the token's value, but in the value of the community.
Difficult times, when the value of the $HIVE token drops significantly, are also the best time to acquire and perform a Power Up, that is, to stake the token. This way you grow your account, voting power, influence—all of this comes together. A downturn is the best time to grow, and certainly increasing your HP (Power Up) is a great way to help.

Another cool project we have at Hive is @hive-echo, where you can take short, ready-to-post videos from web2.com's social media platforms. Instagram, TikTok, and X are some of the places where we can do this project, but it doesn't stop there. Besides helping to promote Hive, you get rewarded for it!

Finally, it's an honor to be able to talk about the @aliento project. For over 4 years, since I joined the Hive, I've seen that aliento is tireless in supporting posts within the Hive and sharing information on various web2 networks.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm not mistaken, aliento is one of the oldest projects still active, always helping the community and doing a sensational job in defending and promoting knowledge about the Hive.
