FT Crypto watch WEEKEND! Sept 3-4

Crypto people we love you!   Thank you for saving the future from the evils of fiat misallocations of capital!! e28c3275a7c1b32f4a3d954e9554e3adb64b45ed967522942bc32f0f25aba577.pngWe love you and yours!! So good to see y'all here hoping for happy  long Indian summers for all! Nuthin but love for you critters. 2b2eb9f8ac05115245af94d03f8e2415ff8593e29c8144ab1d9bc740050b7555.png Hey we are hungry for fun fun crypto news from the FT!!  Let's cut to the chase and go to the online version!! New crypto for today?  Nada, zilch, zipperoni, zippady doo dah, nuttin honey. Dang, that's sad.  Leaving us to marinate in that Mikey Sailor tax troubles story, huh.  Wow that's sad cuz there's a lotta crypto news out there, bruh.

Let's dive into the pink lady weekend anyhew, we bet they are actually talking about crypto.

Here's a hilarious one.  The madness: Look at the front page for a second, then zoom out for hypocritical hilarity: 2352a813541b055dd5da709ea543a77b07861adce9c2f752403b63d04048d02a.pngTwo stories:  one, are footie players in the CPI?  cuz they are inflating from a record  1.4bm to a record 1.9bn!!

Two:  When Whitehall street has planned inflationary three day blackouts from screwing the energy poodle, don't you worry, bureaucrats are printing fiat to pay for carbon paper to stockpile so they can still do bureaucratic yes minister things on your dime.   And you paid them to think about that. Words fail us.  Is this real?  Is it a psyop gaslighting us?? Cause it's surreal reading that.

The REAL story:  Whitehall has emergency generators. All the power in the city will be diverted to the good nabes first, we've watched it happen in NYC.  Only the little people blackout.  So this is just a clever little trial balloon floated to prep us for how stupid it might get?? Well then it's already that stupid, just a matter of time for the fallout. Jesus Hashimoto, buy a solar panel or crank generator for your phones and bluetooth pictures of carbon copies to fill that "need", STFU!!

OK, ok.  Liz will be the new PM, cause Rishi backstabbed BoJoLiz has the worst non-war landscape ever an incoming PM could face.

Tradfi corruption watch - the SEC and the CFTC just got about a $100 mm each off of JP Morgan for not tracking texts and emails. 534257d6309377246acb7da01dee2495cdb64d40765bd67b356c7ecd8ce76ee3.pngTLDR:  there will be a billion dollars in fines. The issue is still ongoing.  Here's a funny: a pic of the Wall Street subway stop.  What's funny?  on EVERY other stop, people would stand clear of the doors to let folks get on and off, even during rush hour.   But for the Wall Street stop, Independent Rapid Transit last stop before Brooklyn,  the crowd would close ranks and act like the train was too full, LMAO.  Consistently saw this from both sides: couldn't get on, then when working in midtown helped to block out & make it hard for others trying to get on at the Wall Street stop, herd mentality lol.  FU Wall Streeters say strap hangers, it's a subway tradition!!! Announcer would call Wall Street stop, everyone would move to box out before the doors opened like we were playing basketball in the paint!!!  So funny.

The UK leads the way in stagflation.

Hedge funds are piling into Berkshire Hathaway, lol!!  Warren's a memestonk!!

Dear readers remember the state of the Yen is the canary in the coal mine of MMT (Modern Monetary Theory) madness. The canary is coughing and looking sickly, at a 24 year low against the dollar.  Usually a weak yen means others will buy Japanese equity, not this time.  Japan will finally lift PCR tests for tourists, maybe that will help. 9d0a2359ece890c180bc5f011c3eda6bd48fbe2361ac799fe1abaf04b86d952f.png

No freaking crypto.  Great story of Lucy moving to a giant pile up north. Lovely chess problem!!  Totally missed the answer!!!  Books.

Sign of the insane times - tbf the FT runs juicy fat paid watch specials.  This time NO CRYPTO.  Oh, a watch can read live stats off yer porsche or ferrari, so ya know they HAVE blockchain, but not mentioned this time, not even NFTs which are all over watches.  They float the insane trial balloon - it's cool man to wear two watches at once.

All the weekend, no crypto, online no crypto. Can't find the funny in the void, except this bendaho is a giant humorous gaping space of a void, lol, no crypto news this week fit for weekend print, THAT's a  #&$^$#!!!! trial balloon lol!!! THE FT is turning their back on crypto, won't let it on the print train, roflmao!!!

OK, we can tell when we are not wanted (not really) we'll just go then.  078c659bae7f65fe2bd6d7faa0d582ed26b2745b9dc09e61993c156d04a7d522.png

Other crypto news funny fish in the sea!!  We'll go find some for yall.

Peace out

love

Dave

National Merit got this punk rocker to Oberlin, and Wall Street fintech gave up world tours and an NYU MBA. I am a Bitcoin true believer. Bitcoin is deeply revolutionary in a way we always prayed tech would be. Keep the baby Faith!

FT WATCH - the Financial Times on Crypto!!!
FT WATCH - the Financial Times on Crypto!!!

The WSJ turned into USA today - which leaves the FT at the top of the heap for serious financial news! Join us for a semi-serious monitoring of the FUD & hate the FT now showers on crypto. Dear readers know we love that pink newspaper but boy howdy does the FT despise crypto--- it's funny. The old guard always fights the new guard. The FT does it eruditely, with misleading comments, fun graphs, and outright lies (usually) attributed to crypto's greatest enemies!
