FT Crypto watch Aug 18

Hodlers, we love you.   Thanks for gathering on the underground radio of the awe inspiring Publish0x.  Here to love one of a very few positive current megatrends for humanity, namely freedom from fiat abuse.

f2741ffa4d526dcd2e5b252754bdfd93eb478bdbe03b2d547fbbc00d580ed678.pngThere's always fiat for war at the top of the Cantillon heap.  Here together tho we got love for the indie miners choosing protocols in peace that intrinsically proselytize peace.

Dear readers know we missed BTC for peace the very first time we got mystical over bitcoin. Nozomi et al point out that Satoshi's name carries a massive symbolism for peace, Japan's survival of atomic attacks.  56f68c20943b0d31048acbf887691dfb3cfd3209c95d6b970648c7ace23db000.pngTrigger warning, What's the sick trading floor joke?  This summer was NOT the highest temperature ever in Japan owwwwwww.   Fiat CLEARLY always drives the war machine, only now is there a CHANCE crypto might not!! Crypto in the FT!!

The UK is once again the "sick man of Europe," inflation in double digits, worst in G7, another rate hike coming. The BoE is asleep at the wheel!  US minutes show the Fed was asleep as well!  40 year highs in inflation on BOTH sides of the puddle.

But WE're here for the laughs! Here's one. 6605c498230efd22376c1e05f17b9cd7730fe6d62724c46b39015095e05e0062.png No, THAT's just a sad example of a central bank FAIL!!! don't worry tho, no one working at the BoE is worried about the price of supermarket microwave chinese food.   What's funny is a decade old article from CNBC below points out that the gummint changed how inflation is calculated.  For example, the 5.5% inflation of 2011 REALLY was 9.6% if measured the same way it was in the early eighties!! So the REAL inflation rate is what, 18% now??? lol!!! Not a 40 year high, more like ATH!!!

An Egypt FT story reads like an ad for no fiat please. Their central banker just quit. The military is expanding control over the entire economy.  The IMF keeps the party going, with 20 billion in loans, plus "reforms" where the Egyptian pound went down 50% in a year.  Take THAT, average Egyptian family.  You've been REFORMED!!! gee thanks IMF.  We didn't want to be able to buy a washing machine with our savings anyway, we guess.  NOT in the FT story oddly?  Inflation in Egypt is hanging around the 14% mark by whatever way measured.

Ohh man back to love74eab4fcd81f36b085fda16d7055e1b28f9fe1d02844076a697a1de5c9793290.pngCrypto that SAYS crypto in the FT today!! Changing the fabric one helpful insight at a time lol OK Here's a funny, the CDPQ stack of lies makes print, IT"s funny! 138092c925384e168a438c578f37b1b52c33647bae92618c2b444d290c3101f0.png CDPQ's due diligence team screwed the poodle 100% and THEN BRAGGED ABOUT THEMSELVES!!! In print, looks much worse.  It's ALWAYS too soon for stupidity!! We can't believe we didn't lob a F-bomb towards CDPQ for blaming crypto, and one for the FT for enabling them.  But the Judges' non-decision is final.

FT ya coulda mentioned Fairfax Pension in Virginny.  It's not crypto's fault, it's Alex's, and fools who believed in him.  Like us, when Alex was freeclimbing to tear down Chase's signage in midtown lol!!!

That's crypto FT news in print AND online today!  Well, a new trailer for the podcast, but that's no help.  Misdirected resources, cause there is news news news in real life.

not in the FT: Ripple ripped up!  Gemini is supporting staking just in time for ETH to go deflationary!!! !

It's fun time for monkey lawyers!  Bitboy is suing Atozy for defamation!  Both have over a million followers on YouTube.  Bitboy pimped PAMP, while it was crashing from $2.70 down to $0.00021.  Atozy called Bitboy a dirtbag, being paid to shill up exit liquidity.  Looks like truth to us.  Cheering for Atozy's lawyers but sad Atozy has to pay them.  How do we know Bitboy bad?71e812d9be93b5585afe26576b5c823080bb0847e782f1c131d4c9ec93e196b9.pngthe 0x done told us. A long long time ago.  Plus direct observation of Bitboy!!! who  actually said DYOR BUT NOT THIS TIME!!  This time, just trust me. PUMP!! erm, PAMP.  Sr-w Bitboy, if youtuber cannot call youtubers dirtbags, how WILL we be entertained?  Bitboy made his bucks on early altcoins, nothing since, he's not an analyst really.  Spending bags to chill dissent is a horrible moral play, unamerican, showing yet again he was doing wrong. fa7f79166d94509af378113f9409243df569eb7816752e05fcb83c31fe2f22a5.png Top ten Wall Street axiom - call em like ya see em Atozy baby!!  Atozy, we never watched ya, but sending y'all love & freedom & followers. cfccf7c884eb5246ffb1a681814409e22daa49d6df11a265b8f485918484acf2.pngmay your days be wonderful.

The same to y'all and the salmon lady.

National Merit got this punk rocker to Oberlin, and Wall Street fintech gave up world tours and an NYU MBA. I am a Bitcoin true believer. Bitcoin is deeply revolutionary in a way we always prayed tech would be. Keep the baby Faith!

FT WATCH - the Financial Times on Crypto!!!
FT WATCH - the Financial Times on Crypto!!!

The WSJ turned into USA today - which leaves the FT at the top of the heap for serious financial news! Join us for a semi-serious monitoring of the FUD & hate the FT now showers on crypto. Dear readers know we love that pink newspaper but boy howdy does the FT despise crypto--- it's funny. The old guard always fights the new guard. The FT does it eruditely, with misleading comments, fun graphs, and outright lies (usually) attributed to crypto's greatest enemies!
