Hi friends-
Below I'm pasting an update of the periodic table of monthly crypto returns I introduced a few posts back. As a reminder, I took most of the 'large caps' of the crypto space and looked at their monthly returns year to date. I've automated this to reduce human error so the calculations should be accurate, assuming the data sources are. I've learned that depending on the data source one uses, the daily close-to-close points can be different so the numbers may not match up perfectly to other reported summaries.
A few observations from below:
- 9 of the 12 lost money in September, consistent with September being a rough month historically.
- 6 of 9 months have been positive for this group when averaging them out (bottom line)
- Is it just me, or have the defi tokens really started to take a hit relative to others since the regulatory noise started increasing?
If you'd like to see more frequent updates of the various tools I post on this platform, you can follow me on twitter, here.

Cheers,
NZFX
