Sunflower Land is a Web3 idle farm management simulation game played on a web broswer. This means it can be played on mobile on the go, which is my preferred way of playing Sunflower Land. In this post, I will share my experience of the day to day game play of Sunflower Land on mobile. Mobile setup

To play Sunflower Land, we need a software wallet that it connected to a browser. I personally use the Brave broswer on my Android phone. Brave comes with the native Brave wallet which can be used to interact with Sunflower Land. Another option would be to use the browser within the Metamask Android app. I'm sure there are more options out there but these are the two I tried. My preferred option is definitely Brave because I use Brave for my daily web browsing and earn BAT token.

The set up is pretty simple.

1. Download and install Brave browser on your Android phone. (Sorry I don't have an iOS phone so I haven't tried it on iOS.)

2. Import your crypro wallet in the Brave wallet within the Brave browser.

3. Go to the Sunflower Land game website and connect your wallet to the game by clicking the Metamask button. (If you are using Brave, it should automatically connect you to the Brave wallet. Else you can click the wallet icon at the address bar.)

Daily gameplay

As an idle game, Sunflower Land does not require a big chunk of play time. It is the kind of game where you log in a few things a day to do some simple tasks like planting and harvesting, then you just wait for crops and resources to regenerate.

My typical Sunflower Land day goes like this. In the morning when I have time, I log in and harvest my crops, chop trees, plant seeds, and open my daily reward box. This could be during breakfast or on the go since I can do everything in game with my phone.

For me, the Grub shop is my main source of SFL token, the in-game currency. I can sell specific food items to the Grub shop for SFL, and it refreshes once a week. When I have time, I will check on the Grub shop and cook whatever I can sell.

Different crops have requires different amount of time before they can be harvested, and so I usually plant crops with short growing time during the day and end my day with planting something that have at least 8 hours of growing time before I sleep.

One good thing about the game is that even if you have a busy day, you can just choose to plant something with a growing time of more than a day, and you can just get on with your day without needing to open the game and you are still making progress in the game.

Summary

Sunflower Land is a casual idle game that can be played on mobile on the go, and it requires short active play time that is perfect for someone who is looking for a game that is not time consuming yet can have a sense of progression over time with an added bonus of being able to earn crypto tokens and own in game items.
