Binance Trust Wallet adds support for Tezos staking

The Trust Wallet, which was purchased last year by Binance, adds support for cryptocurrency staking. Binance announced it in her blog on April 3.

The staking feature, scheduled to run at the end of the second quarter of 2019, will allow users to receive dividends or interest on their investment for transaction verification. It will also allow them to vote on changes to the blockchaine of the project. Staking rewards are a by-product of the Proof-of-stake (PoS) algorithm.

Thus, launching the staking function allows the Trust Wallet to support cryptocurrencies based on the Proof-of-Stake concept. In connection with this, she has already added support for the Tezos cryptocurrency (XTZ) and plans to integrate staking support within the on-chain decision-making mechanism of the project.

By the end of March, Coinbase Custody, a Coinbase currency exchange facility targeting institutional investors, has expanded its service offerings to include support for the staking of this cryptocurrency. Through its offline cryptocommunication service, investors will be able to participate in network processes such as Tezos within a regulated broker.
