What is Golden-farm and how it works?
So the first website I'm gonna look at is golden-farm. That site may look suspicious and maybe not considered as crypto related… but since one of the payout option is bitcoin and this blog is mainly but not exclusively on crypto I decided to include it. Also remember - that all is not financial advice. I’m not Your financial adviser and it’s just my opinion which I share in hope it will be useful for someone. And remember to never invest more than You can afford to lose!
And why did I say it may look suspicious? Well, there’s no easy and quick gain without risk. Easy and quick gain is highly correlated with risk. And at first glance, this website offers You just money for free.
The inner currency of this website is silver coins - divided into balance for purchases and for payout. You can convert the payout balance into a purchase balance (with 20% bonus) but not vice-versa.
Initially, You’re getting 1 green bird and 300 silver coins for purchase. And what can You bay for it?
Birds. Birds, which lay eggs. This is what You’ll be "cultivating" on this "farm". There are few bird species(colors) with different prices and efficiency - which is described by a number of eggs they lay in an hour. You can’t hatch new birds from the eggs - the only way to get them is by buying them - You can just collect and sell them. For each egg You get 0.01 of the silver coin - kind of an egg doesn't matter at all. Also, it’s worth mentioning that for every action of selling eggs You get 70% for purchase balance and 30% for withdrawal balance.
The cheapest is a green bird, which costs 150 but lays just 5 eggs per hour. That's not very effective. But at the beginning You can have 3 of them. Then, with more and more birds You can earn more and more - so it’s kinda like the simple idle game… with the possibility of real profit!
Also sometimes there is a discount - price of all birds dropped 10 or 20%. You can also get free bonus of 10 to 100 coins every 12 hours.
How much are the profits worth and how effective the different kinds of birds are?
So how much are those silver coins worth? As far as I noticed to get 1$ You have to withdraw about 8000 silver coins. More precise - at least when I looked at payeer (which has the lowest withdrawal threshold - starting from 387 silver coins) it was 7850 silver coins. This withdrawal option also has a relatively low fee - 4%, comparing to 5% for bitcoins and 7% for PayPal and credit card(in that case +10$). Which both require to withdraw much more at one time. I already tried the payeer option and I get 4 cents withdrawal without any problems.
And what kind of bird we have in this little game? Green, Yellow, Brown, Blue, Red, and King Bird. Oh, there’s also an "Unknown species" revealed after the first blue or red bird (I don’t remember exactly I unlock it a few months ago) - which is so-called "SuperBird", which instead of laying eggs just give 210 silver for payout per hour, and it costs… 750000 silver coins
And how are the other birds? Well it’s shown in table below:

**time after we’ll get the return of what we’ve invested - considered as a total amount of silver coins from sold eggs, in hours, and in days(in brackets) rounded up.
You can see the more cost the bird the more effective it is. And as the time of return in days isn’t small, it's better not to buy more of cheaper birds but instead wait some time for bigger ones. The only time buying an instantly cheaper one instead of waiting for a big one is at the time when there’s a discount.
As for me, I got now:
- 5 Green Birds
- 6 Yellow Birds
- 4 Brown Birds
- 5 Blue Birds
- 2 Red Birds
- 2 King Birds
As You see I gradually went from cheaper birds to more expensive ones, and I have to say: it goes exponentially. This means I get 1606152 eggs in a day, which translates to 16061,52 silver coins, which is worth 2$. Though just about 60 cents from that gets for withdrawal, the rest is just what You can reinvest. How much does it take to make it to this level? About a year, with not investing any money and just visiting this website aproximately once in a week on average.
Where’s the risk? Isn’t it just a Ponzi scheme?
Well, actually if You don’t invest real money (and You really don't have to do that!) in it the only thing You are risking is… You’re time. Time is precious after all. But the amount of time spent on this website is minimal. That is a passive income…
Though how are they paying? Are they actually paying?
Well, my research does not give unequivocal results. Some were saying it’s working just fine, others say they can withdraw just about half of your deposits. The numbers differ from 40 to 60%, but other reviewers were saying that some people consider it a scam, because they don’t get how it works. And when I checked it turned out I could withdraw some cash, without depositing anything on my account.
And what with the question "how"? Well, some reviewers consider it an HYIP/Ponzi scheme. And as it can be true for now it seems to be working just fine. But I wouldn’t risk putting real money (or at least many of it) in that. Even though advising it would beneficial to me as You get a bonus from referrals when they deposit money there. And that’s most likely how they pay - from new people's investments, as there is no advertising and other ways the website could earn money for withdrawals. Perhaps they actually invest some of that cash for example in crypto mining, and thus their system will never break. But we can’t be sure, so even though investing some real money is the only way to make the profits get big really quickly, the risk is too high for that.
Also, they seem to really construct the whole system to encourage users to reinvest more and more (instead of withdrawing) and invest real money. Just look at the following parts of the system:
- Depositing money gets You additional bonuses (more birds - with 200$ even 2 red and 1 blue)
- 70% of silver coins You get are just for reinvesting
- You can convert the payout balance to purchasing balance getting 20% more coins, but it’s the one-sided conversion
- The bonus You can get every 12 hours is just for purchasing
- In most payout methods the minimal amount is rather big, and there is a fee of course
- You can also make deposits in bitcoin
Final Thoughts
So after all this website doesn’t make You millionaire, and the income wouldn’t be actually great if You don’t want to take a (big) risk of investing some real money in it. But You can use it without investing a single cent. And what’s most important it’s passive income. It doesn’t need too much of care to use it.
0.6$ a day, so 18$ a month isn’t many but when it’s practically for free who wouldn’t want that? And profits gradually gets bigger and bigger. Though they start at 0, but it only makes it more profitable to start as quickly as possible.
