Beethoven

Today's phrase is attributed to the composer Ludwig Van Beethoven (1770 - 1827): “never break the silence if is not to improve it”, and what does this mean? When speaking it's always better to think about things before saying them, make sure they are true and if what we are going to say is useful, not just talk for the sake of talking.
