A few photos from the Arkadia nature park in the town of the same name. Arkadia has a very interesting history. The park was founded from scratch by Princess Helena Radziwiłł, whose husband was the owner of Nieborów. They had a beautiful palace there, preserved in perfect condition until today.

Helena, an enterprising woman, artistically talented, loving art, music and dance decided to create a place for herself where she would be able to devote herself to her passions. And so, in the middle of nowhere a beautiful park was created, modeled on the buildings of ancient Greece and Rome.

The duchess invited her guests there, organized poetry, music and theater evenings in which she herself participated. Several buildings have survived to this day, the park has undergone revitalization and is open to visitors. You can even spend the whole day walking around the well-kept alleys or sitting by the pond where ducks and swans swim.
