I always say, the ancient idea of getting a safe, secure job and saving for the long term doesn’t work anymore. 

Your employer isn’t going to save you. You must save yourself. The good news is that you can… through entrepreneurship.

But to become a successful entrepreneur you must embrace the heart of the Rich Dad B-I Triangle… Systems. 

Seth goes on to say:

“Today, the means of production = a laptop computer with Internet connectivity. Three thousand dollars buys a worker an entire factory.”

I love that quote because it means the order has been disrupted, and corporations are losing power to real entrepreneurs.

But… only if the entrepreneurs understand the importance of automating systems.

If you run systems—but you are doing all the work—then you are not a successful entrepreneur.

Often, to get your business up and running you must start out that way, but if you don’t evolve into automation, then you haven’t freed yourself from a job. You just created one.

To be free, to take vacation when you want, to spend time with your family, you must embrace three ways to automate:

1.   Create systems that make the hardest jobs easy and train an employee to run that system.

2.   Use software and computers to automate most, if not all your day-to-day tasks.

3.   A combination of employees and software.

As much as possible, the modern entrepreneur aims to have software run the show. He or she never calls in sick or complains about working too much. Plus, software can run day and night without needing breaks or rest.

The important thing to grasp is that your business must have systems…

When you grasp that, your business will give you freedom and the life of dreams.
