Journey's End gets a date: May 16th 2020
Terraria is the best 2D platformer I've ever played with friends. I got it around it's initial release date back in May 16th, 2011. Nearly a thousand hours were spent in the first couple of years. Exactly nine years later, it's final official update will arrive.
As the trailer below shows, it's amazing. A new difficulty mode, revamped enemies, new items... If you can think of it, ReLogic got it in. But I won't be playing it soon which saddens me. I'm very burnt out from the game. Every few months I start it up again but I'm just over it, you know? I can't be bothered anymore.
Even if I do play it, I'll still put it on hold until fanmade mods get updated. That will take a few months. Regardless, Terraria is getting a lot of hype again, so this is a great time to buy it if you never gave it a chance. There are dozens of hours of content for any new player!
At times like this, I wish I could play Terraria: Otherworld. It always looked like a great little spin-off worth playing for a few days. They should have just released it.
Hey, if you are an avid terrarian already, have you ever noticed how the Eye of Cthulhu and The Twins bosses really are part of Moon Lord, Cthulhu itself?
Except it's never his eyes from the eye socket parts of his head. What we're really battling are actually the third-eye and hand-eyes. Why does Cthulhu even have four regular eyes, then...

This is it, guys. Terraria is... Complete.
