Yes I have asked chatGPT what is FB instead of searching Wikipedia this time for several reasons. First of all, I wanted to find an unbiased description about FB created from a machine and not from a human being biased from his emotions. Secondly, during the last year, AI has started to play a huge role in the modern society, affecting our lives positively but also negatively. Positively, when you learn and possibly automate things on AI, negatively when you start being lazy in your life and your job. And you will understand what I mean after you will read the whole article.

How the FB Story unfolded (Part 1)

It was a usual Tuesday morning. I woke up early from my digital timer clock bought back in 2012 (not my smartphone), I visited the toilet without checking my Binance account on my tablet as I used to do in the past, brewed my usual white coffee and decided to turn on my desktop to browse my favorite websites and social media while drinking my morning coffee just before i got ready for my daily job. After opening my Brave Browser, i went directly to click on my FB account. And then it happened! DANG !

Both of my FB accounts had been suspended. Yes I have 2 accounts that I use with different browsers. One official for my personal life where I have included my family and all my Real friends aka people that I have met physically at least once in my life and we got connected on Fb too and another that I used to participate in competitions and for my crypto-activities posting giveaways and my Publish0x articles but also to criticize the local and global politicians and political and social incidents. No I am not a spammer, a scammer, a married man flirting on Fb using a secret account when my wife (which I don't have) is away like the majority of women think about men using FB as a dating site. I am single.
The main reason is that I want to keep my fb activities separate and due to lack of freedom of speech on the platform, i had been found in the past in conflict with my Real friends opinions on political and social matters. And it hurts A LOT to lose a friend just because it happens to have a different opinion from him and he takes the matter seriously while I don't!

Not only, I have lost my 2 FB accounts, but also my Instagram accounts were suspended as well. And because i had also connected my unofficial TikTok and Pinterest accounts with my FB accounts, i have lost them too! So when you try to setup an account with a platform, please don't connect your Meta account as well, because if your Meta account will be suspended you will lose access there too and you won't be able to login there either!

Interestingly, in the email that I have received from [email protected], my account has been actually restricted from advertising and not because I have 2 FB accounts, as seen below:

Before I continue my article, I would like to make a SCAM WARNING, to those who will dare to leave a comment on the article promising that they are able to recover my accounts in exchange of Bitcoin, FIAT money or any other altcoin or mean of exchange. I have been scammed in the past from a scammer who promised that he is able to recover my cryptofunds lost in a Binance drop scam, in exchange of crypto, as it is explained in my article with title "BTC Airdrop Conflict".

So scammers please don't try it again, you will be reported without hesitation to the moderators of this platform. Go find a decent honest and ethical job like everyone on this society. How the FB Story unfolded (Part 2)

As I said before, both of my FB accounts were suspended which means in order to recover them all I need to do is to Upload my government ID into the platform so that an AI machine to decide that I am a real person and not an impostor. And I have 180 days to convince myself of doing so before the permanent disable of my accounts! Thank you Mark! I am really obliged to you now!

This is not gonna happen. No i won't do it. i don't care! I would never provide my Government ID to any kind of social media platform to prove that I am not an elephant no matter the evolution of AI. Especially when I hold the accounts for 13 years before the recent hype and evolution of AI and Bots! During 90s, the cryptoanarchist Tim May and his CypherPunk movement with the CypherPunk manifest fought exactly for this situation. To provide Real Free Speech on the Web thought anonymity and that was also part of Satoshi Nakamoto's Vision for a Peer2Peer electronic cash system!

And why Fb wants my Government ID? I find that illegal and against the law. Why I should provide my personal government data to a private company such as Meta ? Because the establishment through the Big4 or 5 global companies are trying exactly the opposite i.e. to record the Government ID of "naughty" social media users so that they will manage to control them later. For me it sounds like an attempt to establish a social credit system similar to the one of China (Please read the relevant article "China Social Credit System Explained – What is it & How Does it Work?) and it brings to my minds scenes from the Hydra in the Captain America film where the potential naughty civilians are targeted and executed because they are considered "a potential threat to the society" and a way to bring "A New World Order". And trust me, Hollywood knows how well how to make science fiction a reality... which means that Holywood actually "prepares" society about the future in an entertaining way to make it easier for future adoption.

But let's see what is the ACTUAL FB Policy about suspension and disable of FB accounts.

Well, posting content that doesn't follow FB Community Standards is very objective and biased. And how should i know which content is that? Does anyone reads the Community Standards before posting something there? Neither, I have mislead or deceived someone or impersonate someone apart from myself. And finally I have never contact someone for the purpose of harassment, advertising or promoting. Speaking the truth, having these rules under consideration the majority of fb should have been banned from fb already and you can't create a rule today and ban someone who posted something against the community standards a day before. And I have never used any VPN service to use my accounts. I have been doing it continuously for yes 13 years using the same ip in different browsers just to keep them separate without previous issues but suddenly in 2024 FB AI believed that I am a criminal!

According to the articles "How to Avoid Getting Permanently Banned From Facebook" and "How to Get Unbanned From Facebook: Complete Guide (2024)", "Why Did I Get Banned on Facebook? Unveiling 5 Reasons & Solutions to Avoid Facebook Ban in 2024", a user might receive up to 9 strikes and temporary restrictions in the use of the platform before having his account suspended. And again I would say the number of violations should have been resetting annually. But in my case, there was no warning about trespassing the holy commandments of Mark Zurkerberg. Even If I am guilty according to some of you and Mark Zurkerberg, disabling my accounts out of the blue isn't a solution. Go ahead! “Whoever hasn’t sinned should throw the first stone.” (John 8:7).

And according to the same Wikipedia post about the FB censorship, several countries have been hit hard with censorship and multiple accounts suspension for expressing their political views on the platform when they were opposite to the ones of Mark Zurkerberg and the establishment. For Greece, that happened in 2021 when FB deleted posts, events, imposed 30-day and permanent bans on notable leftists journalists and fb users, for posting their solidarity to a long-served convict who was on a hunger strike. I am not here to judge if that was politically correct or not but the fact that these fb accounts were censored brings me opposite to this policy.

The Reddit Articles

No, i am not the only one who was hit with a double FB accounts suspension, even if I am found guilty for some of you. Donald Trump's account had been also banned only because Mark Zurkerberg supports the Democrats and not the Republicans. Simply like that! After a manual investigation on the web I have found several articles on Reddit (Article 1, Article 2, Article 3) about ex Fb users who woke up one morning just like me only to find their FB accounts suspended. And possibly they are more innocent than me. Here are few examples. surprisingly, the whole situation started unfolding around 2 months ago, around September 2024 or even earlier on May 2024.

Interestingly, the last post provides a tiny window of hope where the user mentions that his account got published after sending an extensive email to [email protected]. Worth to try it ? Why Not. But possibly you will find it out on a future article.

As a Computer Engineer, I visited recently an OpenSource conference where a Political and OpenSource Technological Activist gave a speech and in the end he advertised that everyone is welcome to connect with him on an "OpenSource and Free Speech" social media called Mastodon that was established when Elon Musk acquired Twitter aka X.

Let's make a parenthesis here, At least I still have my X account uncensored even after the acquisition of Twitter from Elon Musk. In fact, my Twitter account had been deactivated once in the past, when Dorsey was still having the control of the platform. In fact, I received an unfair report for a comment that I left on a tweet of another user supporting illegal and undocumented emigrants who were gamified from the Turkish Regime of Erdogan and were instructed to pass the border to Greece without permission only because Erdogan was asking billions of FIAT money from EU in exchange of keeping them in his country.

Nevertheless, soon after the suspension of my FB accounts, I decided to give Mastodon a try! And guess what! Not long afterwards, exactly in my 2nd post, my account had been disabled there instantly too for posting a quote that I heard on a financial interview on youtube saying:

At least, this time I wasn't asked to upload my Government ID on the platform. Eventhough, I made an appeal, my newly created account had been disabled once for good in my exactly 2nd post!

And Mastodon is supposed to be an OpenSource and Free Speech platform! For sure, I never intent to go back there. It seems that X has remained the only platform without censorship so far. And trust me if Elon Musk will decide one morning to purge a percentage of the X accounts, my account would be in that list for sure! And maybe yours too.

Suspending your social media account, it is more of a Political or Marketing decision rather than the correct decision.

Final Thoughts - Life After FB

It seems that FB, isn't the only social media platform that has started a fight, a purge of "naughty" user's for no matter what reason. Here is an example from katerinaramm's article with title "Beyond the Loss: Discovering Joy in Life's Little Delights" where she explains how her Medium Account has been also disabled.

In case you have not seen the news, a couple of weeks ago, there were many authors that were banned when a new algorithm was implemented in Medium Platform.
A great number of authors/platform users (including myself) received an automated message that their account was banned, without more information about the reasons behind this.
In my case, this has resulted to a loss of $138 earned amount for my previous month's earnings, + $20 a few days in March + $15 the subscription that I had paid in Medium. The above amounts are for ever lost (if they do not re-instate my account) - I have requested a manual/human review and I am waiting.

Yes, it seems that Medium has decided to use an AI system similar to FB AI to start purging accounts without reasons as well. Phewww, at least my Medium account even if it registerd on the Paid Authors system, hasn't been banned in the purge. And possibly, Publish0x might change its policy one day, acquire a relevant AI system and starts purging and disabling accounts without warning only because they think so and you will lose or your articles, your funds and everything you have inserted on this platform to make it more popular.

Yes exactly, AI is governing and affecting our social lives already. And this only the beginning. Even if I upload my government ID into FB or send them an email, nobody would take me seriously. Even if FB employees would be involved in the process, they would consider that if AI took a decision, then it should be correct.

But it in the end, its FB or Medium or Mastodon's loss not the user's. Because they lose potential customers. And yes, your Fb personal photos with your biometric data doesn't belong to you as many FB users used to declare on their FB wall in the past. One single command of the FB AI machine may purge and suspend your account without warning and you will lose EVERYTHING! And when i say everything, I mean everything! Your FB friends, your posts, your photos, your videos. EVERYTHING. And there is nothing to do about that. You can't sue Fb because Zurkerberg has disabled your account.

And I will repeat myself again here:

Now all for you who breath and live with a FB account, you should wonder. How's life outside FB ? My answer? It is completely perfect! Not very bad. Yes! I miss my FB interaction with my friends, my Fb flirting there, posting photos and youtube music videos on my wall but absolutely NOT, it's NOT the end of the world! Yes there is Life After FB. Trust me. Yes, i have less worries now how many likes I would receive on a post, who would like my posts, and if my political views are approved from my circle of FB acquaintances! Yes, I have more spare time now. Possibly again I am spending it online playing games on Rollercoin or on Youtube or working but.... I am still BREATHING OXYGEN ! GoodBye FB, Welcome Life !
