Cointiply has apparently managed to self-destruct. One of the oldest and most reliable crypto faucets out there has, overnight, decided to completely overhaul almost every feature it ever had. Just as I was about to review it too, as it had one of those rare things other sites do not: a faucet which simply pays out for doing nothing.
Most sites make you work hard for your crypto. I'm specifically looking for the Good Old Days when you could just stack coins from fellow believers who just wanted to make sure the network is successful. Long gone are those days, but perhaps I'm not alone in yearning for them. What we have now is scams upon scams, and the super-rare unicorns: true faucets. They may be slow, but they function as a faucet should: dispensing while turned on.
Cointiply was one of them, perhaps the best. Now it is gone, reduced to ashes of its former glory. The support section is purging mentions of the old free-flowing faucet behavior, and the main de-facto "new" way to earn coins - pay attention: earn, not get for free - is to get daily rewards for earning coins. You need 300 coins from various sources to get a small bonus payout of about 50 of Cointiply's internal currency. Hard work gets you your "free" crypto - and only a minuscule amount. Did I mention it is no longer free?
There is still some hope, some light, some good left in Cointiply: the free wheel spins and mystery boxes. These are truly given out for simply logging in, but they are heavily metered. You only get one spin per day, and one per week from the boxes. The spins usually give 25 coins, at least I never saw them give more. The boxes so far have given me XP boosts, which are basically worthless if you are looking for a faucet. Ignore the promise of higher rewards. After all, we want free-flowing faucets, not a gambling sideshow.
To arrive to the main point: the king's entrails are visible, and they're grisly. The site constantly gives gateway errors, operations time out, the chat does not work, clicks don't register, daily quests simply fail to get logged, and so on. Even the bonus spins which are sometimes supposed to appear in the free wheel spins fail to register. Whoever did the site upgrade messed up, royally - worthy of being called a kingslayer.
The extent of the fallout remains to be seen: the ruins are slowly coagulating into something new. In the meantime, I recommend FireFaucet - the king. It is the only remaining true faucet which gives out free coins over time without any effort whatsoever.
