CoronaCoin NCOV Airdrops x85 to Holders!

Coronacoin began taking off after receiving a large amount of mainstream press coverage, from Business Today to The New York Times. As with any crypto coverage in these organs of the ruling class, you would expect the coverage to be altogether critical and spiteful. But surprisingly, these articles tended towards neutrality. As one voice of the project said in regards to criticism,

Asked whether the token could be seen as morbid, Kemp said: "There are currently active pandemic bonds issued by the WHO. How is that different?"

This is an entirely true statement, as the 500 million dollar bonds in question remain unused at the time of writing. There needs to be 12 weeks worth of a global pandemic before the funds can be sent to developing nations, and the investors in question are likely racing to pull out their funds before that deadline can reached. I've written my own thoughts on the project here. Basically, there is nothing amoral about the project, and our economic system is far worse than anything an ERC20 token can create. Consider that fact that all computer chips require cobalt which is often mined by child slaves in Africa. There is no ethical consumption under capitalism.

In any case the project took off in price until recently with all the news, then suddenly dumped, or so I thought.

I admit that I had originally expected this to be just another meme pump and dump. But I was wrong.

I checked my wallet holding an insignificant airdrop amount only to see a large amount sent in. 8,500 NCOV was deposited over night. The timing with this amount and the sudden fall in price made me suspicious.

Heading over to their telegram channel I posed a question and was told that, in fact, someone on their dev team was found to have stolen some funds. That person was kicked out and their bags depleted. The team then airdropped extra NCOV to compensate holders.

Now, some might say that this is evident of a scummy project. But I was actually surprised by the experience.

Let's be objective here.

First, I was able to get in contact with the project through an open channel. In this case, Telegram.

Second, my question was answered promptly.

Third, whatever shit-tier actions the thief took, the team took their own actions to make things right.

There are many projects out there that would do far less for holders of the coin. The NCoV team have taken actions to benefit their holders in the face of a potential mistep by a thief, and in any case the project continues to grow at an impressive rate, with the transaction volume now breaking over $10,000. That's a hell of a lot for a meme coin.

I'll admit it. My wallet is now infected with NCOV. I see this as a moon mission. Or a pandemic. Or both.
