This is great news for Fangimation Studios as its a way for our community to support us even more and for us to be more encouraged to deliver quality content. I mean, did you SEE the livestreaming part?

For a while, there has been a concern on HOW Odysee will send its coin off of the platform. It can be used inside of the platform very well, but what about other uses off the site?
It appears this is one way:
Yes, you can now connect your bank account AND card information to your Odysee account and receive said cash tips during livestreams, comments, and videos.
We've successfully linked ours and the process wasn't grueling, about 7 minutes tops. Make sure you have your phone near you:
So this is 1 solution that Odysee has provided for its community to receive FIAT (Cash Tips) for posting their content. Hopefully the fees will be lessened, or obsolete, in the near future to encourage its community any more. The 5% plus other card charges could equal to a tax fee. That's not exactly encouraging.
BUT!
We have faith for Odysee and it's a good step towards the right direction. If Upwork can get rid of their connect fee (something freelancers use to BUY in order to APPLY to jobs), Odysee can eventually get rid of their 5% cut. The community is growing and it's a positive sign.
So head on over to your Odysee page. If you don't have one, use our referral link to start yours and and build a following there. Remember, knowledge is power and on a decentralized platform, at least it gives you the option to make a decision yourself :)
