We all know there was a hacker that stole over 18 million dollars, we just don't know who he is so Curve Finance had decided to offer the public 10% to anyone that finds who did the hack. Specifially, 1.8M dollars.

That is some pretty serious price detriment due to just 1 hack. Imagine your company being hacked and the next thing you know being that you lose over 70% of your company value? Wouldn't that really annoy you? You've been doing everything by the law, you've got employees to pay, what on earth are you doing next?

In this case Curve finance just decided to offer a public bounty of 1,800,000 dollars which is enough to make even the best security cybercriminals interested. There are obviously terms to this specific sort of thing, but how crucial is it to actually find this hacker? What happens if we don't?

Well, if the hacker goes unfound, that's 18,000,000 Dollars that also simultaneously go unfound which means that's 1 more rich person in the world. The most likely next steps for this hacker is to lay low which is probably what he's doing. This, ofcourse, only makes it harder to be found so I certainly cheer whoever's trying to find him onwards as a whole community of avid crypto enthusiasts are waiting for his arrival to a 2x4 metal box enforced by the full force of a government.

As for the first question posed, it is very important for a prospecting bounty hunter to look at the terms of the bounty as that's the most important part. It also details that if the hacker turns themselves in, they'd be receiving the 1.8 million as well which is an interesting offer.
