USDT had recently gone public about their partnership with the FBI. They've stated details like how they share all details about transaction processes and help educate the fbi on how crypto works. They also contribute to solving cases that occur on the usdt chain. They do their best to intercept illegal transactions on the spot and fully rely on the fbi to take care of it. It's a complete 1 sided relationship. The usdt team doesn't really get anything out of it apart from knowing that they're helping people keep their money safe. They're not obligated to do it so we should be greatful they're doing it - some people aren't greatful because they see it as an infringement of their financial privacy.
