The next book of this series is the one with the lovely title:
"Actual HR-Approved Ways to Tell Coworkers They're Stupid" ๐ฑ
The title of this masterpiece is really promising... unfortunately the author direclty disassembles his own work at the beginning.
"Please note: this book is for entertainment purposes only. No certified HR professional was involved in the creation of this humor book. Use it at your own discretion."
So it is more of a gag gift where the title is the only magic.
Also the amount of "highly inappropriate comments" is limited to only 75...
Still the idea is kind of good. The author lists 75 highly inappropriate comments that we might actually want to say, and some "HR-approved" ways of saying it instead (with the optional twinge of sarcasm of course!).
It's a great stress reliever at work when you are fuming about something but don't really know how to handle it, other than quitting!
He also suggests to even use the book as "code" with your coworker friends, so that when someone says "I value your input, but I have some concerns." you all know that is code for โThat is literally the dumbest idea I have ever heardโ. And see who can keep a straight face in the meeting!
In this book you will find great and funny alternatives to some of these classics that cross our minds on a daily basis:
