The honest doubts
I won't pretend this is a sure thing. A few questions worth sitting with:
- Can attention actually be priced consistently? Social signals are noisy by nature. Whether the data layer is robust enough to anchor fair markets is still unproven at scale.
- Will it attract the right traders? Attention markets need participants who understand culture, not just charts. That's a very specific audience.
- Regulatory grey zone. Anything involving real capital and speculative contracts is operating in territory that regulators are still figuring out globally.
- It's still pre-mainnet. The beta was invite-only with no real money. We haven't seen how this behaves when stakes are real.
These doubts are real — but they're also exactly what makes early access worth something. If Noise cracks this, it's a genuinely new asset class. And I'd rather be early and wrong than late and certain.
