I Bought the ENS Hype (and Lost 💰). Lesson Learned: Don't Trust Crypto Influencers!

By Bfab | Good vibes | 13 Jul 2024

Remember the Squid Game token craze? Or BitClout's meteoric rise (and fall)? I fell for the ENS (Ethereum Name Service) hype too. Guess what? It dumped, as usual.

Here's how the game works: crypto influencers, those charismatic personalities you see on X and YouTube, often shill coins they already own. They'll create hype, telling you it's the next big thing, all while hoping to pump the price up. Then, when the price is high enough, they dump their holdings, leaving unsuspecting investors with losses.

Look at Elon Musk's Dogecoin tweets – coincidence? I think not. Even big names play this game. So, how can you protect yourself?

Don't fall for their tricks! Instead, focus on cryptos they're NOT talking about yet. Put yourself in their shoes – they need to find the next hype before everyone else does. They need to create that buzz, generate those FOMO feelings. So, what's it gonna be? What's the coin or token they haven't discovered yet?

I have my own idea, but I'm not gonna shill it... 😉 Do your own research, think like an influencer, and maybe you'll find the next hidden gem before they do.
