This morning surfing on the waves of the crypto-ocean, I stopped at the website and the twitteraccount of rsk, where there is a big movement starting and evoluating in the direction of an ability to made smart contracts on the bitcoin blockchain, so imho there is starting the concurrence with the ethernet blockchain, am I wrong, is it maybe already a fact?

Imho it is the start only, as I am always surfing the ethernet blockchain and the smart contracts build upon this blockchain, and rarely, like right now only reading and seeing something like the possibily to build smart contracts on the bitcoin blockchain. 

In 2015 the Rootstock/RSK team was formed, with the idea of bringing smart contract functionality to Bitcoin. In 2018, the RSK chain was launched, secured by the Bitcoin network as a merge-mined chain
