Its been a while since I last wrote an article so I will start by telling you about my WAX NFTs.
I was doing my crypto thing reading, and searching for games involving crypto. When I came across an article about Coingecko giving away a free BCHeroes NFT. Since it was free I went and accomplished the task to acquire said Nft. It was a Great Gecko Mint #432.

This was the start of my obsession with NFT's. I loved the idea of tokenizing trading cards on the block chain. I have collected Magic The Gathering cards most of my life and I hate the fact there is no way to prove the how many of each card available with the exception of 6 set. The minting process allows us to know not only how many are available, it also tells us the order in which it was produced on the blockchain. This knowledge then proves without a doubt the card in question is actually "Rare". Unlike with Magic The Gathering there is no public knowledge of how many cards are made of each rarity with the exception of 6 set.
Some time had gone by and once again while scrolling and reading articles on Publish0x I saw an article with a link that Garbage Pail Kids were being released on the block chain so I jumped on that opportunity and got some series 1 packs. I opened them immediately. I received mostly commons a couple prism and one sketch rarity.

With the recent NFT Craze accompanied by the price of WAXP going way up my digital collection began to grow. I had tried talking my brother into buying BTC when it was around $4000 dollars but he didn't take the bait. But once he saw my Adam Bombs last sale at the time was 70000 WAXP worth about $2200 USD it made him rethink my funny money.
When I discovered Street Fighter was releasing their cards I let my brother know early and even got him to collect a few of the free Street Fighter NFTs. He was skeptical but had his credit card ready on d-day. Once he found out you could level them up the addiction set hold. He ended up Getting 2 collector editions out of it. Later that night he purchased more WAXP to buy more cards.
It now seems like everyday he is on his phone purchasing any kind of digital collectable he can get his hands on. I didn't realize how addicting crypto is until I watched my brother go from calling it funny money to scouring the WAX market places for good deals on packs of anything he can get his hands on.
