Most modern currency is digital, Ampleforth is a protocol for smart commodity money. The protocol receives exchange rate information and propagates that to the holders of the currency, by increasing or decreasing the amount of tokens each holder holds. This exchange rate propagation translates into changes into Ample's market cap which currently sits at $48,216,905 which means traders have to devise new strategies to trade Ample.

The name comes from a character named Ampleforth in George Orwell's novel named "1984". Ample protocol propagates price info into supply by reacting to nominal exchange rate information. To get price info form the markets, ample uses a market oracle system which consists of data providers who send 24/7 amount of average prices to a single on-chain feedreader.

Ampleforth has 3 smart contracts based on Ethereum
